38 weeks….

by Alison on January 10, 2011

So I haven’t posted much, what can I say I haven’t been motivated much.

I have been cooking up a storm.  I spent most of November cooking double batches, finishing one to eat that night and freezing the other to eat after the baby arrives, by the way I might be 38 weeks and 4 days but she shows NO signs of being ready to move out.

I have gained 36 pounds which sucks but I’ll survive, I think all women pregnant over Thanksgiving and Christmas deserve a few extra pounds to play with!!!

I am reallllllllly unmotivated to cook this week but Thanks to Sarah’s comment on the 4th I plan to make some of that soup tomorrow, nice to have homemade soup around.

So all yes, I’m alive, no, there is no baby but I’m thinking about goals post baby so expect to see more posts here then.  Thanks to everyone who has emailed wondering if I’m alive, I am, just not so focused on the blog.

Alison – so glad to hear from you and know that you are well! I can’t wait to see photos of the baby when she arrives. Take care of yourself!

Glad you are alive and well! Although I didn’t mind being a stalker! I love all your recipes (love that we both like spice!) and will look forward to hearing about all the baby news when it happens – so exciting!

FYI, I gained 40 pounds when I had my daughter, and I lost 25 without hardly doing anyting the first six weeks – your body will adjust! 😀

Hi you! Sending good thoughts your way! I gained over 50 pounds with Atticus (yikes) and found that all but 15 disappeared after about 8 weeks of breastfeeding. It’s a phenomenal burner of calories! And after I healed i just started walking and walking and walking, since it was something Atticus and I could do together. Much love and happiness sent from me to you.
