June 9th and 10th Food and Excercise Journal

by Alison on June 11, 2010

This week seems to be slipping by so fast, it’s crazy.  Having my routine shaken up is probably why.  Wednesday was an off day and although I took the dogs for a walk I didn’t do any other activity, which was probably good.  I took my Mom to Nordstroms and got her some new clothes and we picked up some really cute stuff for my niece and nephew.  We went to dinner at Matt’s Rotisserie and Oyster Bar because fresh seafood where my mother lives is a sad joke, so she got her oyster fix and I had a pulled pork sandwich and Ben had a burger.

Thursday we did some more errand type stuff and I had a cross training day 30 minutes, 10 miles on the bike and then a bowflex workout.  For lunch I made us chicken and pesto panninis and for dinner I made spaghetti and meat sauce, normally I have ditched the saucy heavy meals by now but its still so cold and gray it feels like Autumn, not Spring and certainly not like Summer is 10 days away…

Sorry I have been so absent in blog-land (I’m so behind on people’s blogs and my own feels lame :P)it will pick up when my mom leaves and maybe my mood will improve with some sunshine, I’m just feeling very blah with the weather at the moment.  Oh and I really want to be a weatherman and be paid to be WRONG  90% of the time.  I mean I can look outside and tell that their forecasts are crap, do they not actually go outside at all?????

I did the boat tour of Lake Washington today with my Mom, just enough sun it was really great, fun time and great for out of town guests.
