I found the rings!

by Alison on June 23, 2010

I found my rings, woohoo!!  They were on the dining room table, not sure I looked there carefully.  Hips are still sore and now I’m sure it’s not in my head because I woke up twice because I hurt my hip turning over 🙁  I plan to make the call on Friday whether I’m doing my race or not and rest until then.  I didn’t even go out for a long walk in the lovely sunshine because I wanted to be careful.  I did watch lots of world cup, I miss playing soccer.

For breakfast it was the boring standby of peanut butter, banana on a bagel thin and for lunch I had cornish pasty, yogurt and a really yummy nectarine.  I had a popcorn snack midday and for dinner I tried another of Roni’s recipes from Green Light Bites, awesome site if you are looking for healthy recipes.  Today I made Golden Corn Muffin Topped Turkey Chili Really easy the chili cooked in one large pan then got put in a pyrex dish and topped with Golden Corn Muffin Vitamuffin mix, I used half to top it and made the other half into muffins, they are great just the right sweetness.  I mostly followed Roni’s recipe except I used fresh cilantro and I added more chili powder and  some hot sauce since we both like thinks on the spicy side 🙂  I served it with a side of asparagus.  The chili is loaded with veggies and super savoury, definitely a keeper, Ben had seconds and at 225 calories and 4 points why not!

Hooray for finding the rings!! So happy for you – I know what a relief that is! I took my ring off one time when I was making some dough – never put it back on.

The next day I was on the train station on my way to work when I realized it was gone. My husband and daughter were both already gone for the day, and while I thought it was in the kitchen, I had fears of losing it. Luckily it was in the kitchen!
