May 13th Food and Exercise Journal

Today was a cross training day so I popped out 30 minutes on the bike, I have decided to move workouts a bit so I’m not doing strength training the day before my long run, but that means I missed one strength work out this week.  Tomorrow I have an 8 mile run on the calendar for tomorrow. I am looking forward to the run, thinking of checking out a different trail that is supposed to be less hilly, I’ll decide in the morning.

For Breakfast I made whole wheat banana and walnut pancakes with flax seeds, it was super tasty.  Ben went in to work late today so we got to have breakfast together and take the dogs for a walk.  When I took him in to work at noon I headed to Nordstrom and got a bra fitting done, OMG I was in completely the wrong size  I went from a 40 to a 34, the cup size didn’t change much.  Then I was inspired so I decided to get some new clothes as well.  I got a bunch of cute new tops since they last longer as I lose, they might be a bit loose but that’s ok, they should take me through summer then I will have to replace my Autumn/Winter clothes.  I did pick up 2 pairs of shorts but behaved myself and got no jeans as they don’t last as well and I have a few pairs that fit right now, oh and its almost summer! 😛  I spent too much money probably but clothes that fit well and make me look good are awesome.  So I ended up at Nordstroms for over 3 hours and consequently missed lunch, I had a new Starbucks frap with non fat milk, stevia sweetened (140 calories) 🙂 and an apple with peanut butter.  For dinner we had the leftover Penne Primavera and garlic bread, yes that is raw garlic in the picture.  (YUM).  Normally I do menu planning on Wednesdays but I got distracted yesterday then again today so I still haven’t, anyone have any ideas? I need at least one meatless and 3 others, open to suggestions, really 😛

I smiled reading about your shopping adventures. Sometimes it’s fun to just get lost in it… especially when things seem to be fitting well! Funny enough, I swear when I lost weight, most of it came out of my boobs. It was quite a shock… as for the menu, my goodness, so many options! I see red peppers and zucchini on your plate… how about some stuffed veggies?

First year or so I didn’t lose anything in my boobs, last 5 months I’m dropping every month or so, it’s crazy

Hooray for new clothes! Yes, my dear – you did need a new bra!
