Exploring Bainbridge

by Alison on May 16, 2010

It was a glorious day in Western Washington.  My Aunt and Uncle were in Seattle so we met up with them and took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island.  The ferry ride was awesome with views of the Cascades, Olympics and Mt. Rainier.  We wandered from the ferry to the farmer’s market then through town a bit to a great little restaurant on the water, Harbour Public House.  I had an awesome lamb burger with goat cheese, it was incredible I will have to try goat cheese on burgers at home soon.  For dinner Ben and I hit a local pizza place with wood fired super thin crust pizza that didn’t have tons of cheese, it was really good, we got one pizza that was like jalapeño poppers on a pizza.  It had some cream cheese, jalapeños, chicken and spinach, so good.  We got a good amount of walking in my 13k + steps equalled 3 activity points, woot!
