Somehow April 1st never made it in here, so I’ll add it now 😛
On April 1st, Thursday I ran my 2 miles which felt good then pushed through a strength training workout that had my arms feeling like jelly! I made a big batch of oats and added yogurt and strawberries and it was divine. I think I overdid the cauliflower and sweet potato curry, having it for both lunch and dinner… but it was super filling.
On Friday I ran two miles in a decent time and committed to one mile every day for the month of April. Most of those will be run except the Saturday mile that I will walk as I need one day off a week. For Breakfast I made Lemon-Blueberry pancakes, that Biz had on her site OMG they were incredible. Both Ben and I think the only pancakes we might have had that were better were my oatmeal ones that are loaded with butter. For lunch we had leftover Cheese and beer soup. Before dinner we took the dogs for a walk but it was super blustery so we decided to take a short walk, we went up to the school behind us and no one was around so we let the dogs off leash to run around. It was great I was running all over and they were chasing me or running to find me. I got alot of running in and I’m so glad I did the couch to 5k because in January I never would have been able to keep up with them or keep them entertained for so long. While we were there it started to rain torentially but we played under the covered areas for a bit before heading home to dinner. For dinner we finished the chicken roll ups and had broccoli with lemon and garlic, yum! I found whole wheat panko crumbs and that rocks my world.
