Today was my weigh in. I lost 1.4 pounds! seems like I’m on a great trend 4.6 pounds in the last 4 weeks. A little less than I would like but still solid losses. I had yogurt and granola for breakfast at my meeting. When I came home we had pita pizzas for lunch. I put Canadian bacon and kale on mine, I put some of the kale under the cheese and some on top and it got crunchy like kale chips. The day was drizzly and sunny off and on. We took the dogs for a walk and I got in my mile for today. For dinner I grilled a couple of grass fed steaks and asparagus, the asparagus got a bit over crunchy on the outside but were still tasty. I also made a couscous salad with kidney beans, broccoli, green onions, and a small amount of jalapeños. The dressing was tomato juice, vinegar and a small amount of olive oil and cumin, damn tasty and super easy.
I’m excited and nervous about my 10k race tomorrow. I have never run that far before but I have done 5 miles the last 2 weeks and the course is supposed to be very flat so I am feeling good about running the whole thing, I will walk if I need to.
