It is seriously cold and windy here! Wind gusts yesterday of 60+ miles per hour! We had a super mild winter then it looked like summer planned to push spring right out of the picture but now winter is back to say hello, ugh, my garden has no idea what is going on. I weighed in this morning and I was down 1.4 which is great I munched on strawberries and yogurt during my meeting. When I got home I made Pita pizzas and salad. I found one point pita pockets!!! YUM. They are a local bakery but they had them at Costco. Ben liked the pita pizzas, they had the right amount of crust and they were solid, cool. I put on light cheese, Canadian bacon, found a kind 4 slices is a point (only 50 calories) so we will be making a lot of use of Canadian bacon I think. I also put a couple of slices of turkey pepperoni on. Finally I made a salad that had a touch of fat free feta and the extra Canadian bacon that I had cut that didn’t fit on the pizza, threw on some home made balsamic vinagrette and presto, fast easy lunch! Then we took the dogs out for a walk in the wind UGH, not super cold but the wind made it icy. I made sure to get at least a mile in for my April challenge.
