Another Monday

by Alison on April 19, 2010

Mondays always seem to come far too quickly.  I headed out for a 2 mile run, it went slowly and smoothly, then I came home and did a full body workout on the bowflex.  For breakfast I had a leftover waffle with some yogurt and blueberries.  The garden is all cleaned up, all the weeds gone, it looks awesome, now I just need to decide what to plant, Ben wants hedges I want something with some colour.  For lunch I dug out some barley mushroom soup from the freezer and had that with a pear.  For dinner I made Chana Masala and Black Eyed Peas with Mushrooms which was an Indian style curry as well.  Both turned out well, the Chana Masala was better.

Feeling wiped and ready to head to bed, night all.

I used the one you linked, it was AWESOME, husband thought a bit more salt and he was probably right, but only a tiny bit more. Totally lived up to expectations and it was really easy to make. Thank you for the recipe.

I’ll have to give that masala a try! But I’ll leave you with the black eyed peas – never have liked them, and my Mom made us eat one for good luck every New Year growing up! 😀
