RAN my 2nd 5k Race. February 28th Food and Exercise Journal

I ran my 2nd 5k race today. And I RAN it, all of it, well I didn’t run about 100 yards of the hill, but I’ll count it. I improved my time by about 2 minutes. Went out too fast at the beginning and that killed me later but hey I finished, running…  So next month I still have a goal to run the whole thing, sooo close this time and to improve my time further.  The speed at which I ran up the hill barely qualifies as running but it’s not the speed that matters its the fact that I ran it.

For Breakfast I had peanut butter and banana on toast then ran my 5k. Then I went to Dim Sum for lunch, which was super tasty and I used my weekly points.  When we got home we took the dogs for a walk which they loved.  For dinner I made Pork Piccata, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Spinach, this is fast becoming a favourite dinner.

Ate 39.5 of 24 points. Earned 7 activity points.

Breakfast(4.5) –Peanut butter, banana, bread

Lunch (25)–Dim Sum

Dinner (10)–Pork Picata, Mashed Potatoes and Steamed Spinach

Running Weekly totals used 17 of 35 weekly points, earned 7 activity points
