February 16th Food and Exercise Journal

by Alison on February 17, 2010

Today’s run was a struggle start to finish, I just felt BLAH and never got that groove that helps me keep going.  Ironically I improved my time again, why does this happen when it feels like I’m sucking.  However my arthritis in my ankle is flaring so I will not be running or doing 30 day shred on Wednesday just some low impact walking.  For dinner I made another recipe from the new WeightWatchers cookbook Slow Cook It!  It was chicken and herb dumplings and it was good, thick and hearty, Ben liked it too.  The recipe called for buttermilk biscuit mix but the ingredients in mixes make me want to cry so I made my own from scratch with whole wheat pastry flour, much tastier and more healthy. I have had a lost season 5 marathon for the past 2 days and now I’m all caught up 🙂  The rest of the week is leftovers.
