30 day Shred Oh my. February 3rd Food and Exercise Journal

So I have decided to re-think my posts and try putting the journal portion on the bottom, tell me what you think 😛  Early on that was the bulk of my posts, just a journal, but now I tend to venture off into other topics and I think some people don’t look past the journal at the top.

I did 2 miles on the treadmill including some hills to get ready for the 5k on February 28th now that I know it has a big hill.  I also did Jillian Michael’s 30 day shred and yes, I’m sore.  It’s a good short workout and I look forward to incorporating it into my routine more.

I went to an SCA culinary guild meeting and tried a few dishes for dinner, I loaded up on the greens and fruit salad and had smaller portions of the not as figure friendly pasta and cheese and almond cakes.

I am working on refining my list of behaviours to reward and I’m still undecided if I’ll post them or not, but I probably will, I’m sort of thinking bigger picture, the ones on my monthly resolutions are easy but what else do I want to reward.

Ate 25 of 25 points. Earned 6 activity points.

Breakfast(5) –Greek yogurt (1), dried cherries (0.5), my granola mix (2), maple syrup (1.5) I over poured 🙁 so I had to add points

Lunch (5)–Beef, Mushroom and Barley Soup (4), Pear (1)

Snack (2.5)–String Cheese (2), mandarin oranges (0.5)

Dinner (12)–Nibbles of various medieval dishes including greens, cheesy pasta (about 1/3 cup), fruit salad and a cookie baked with almond flour

Running Weekly totals used 32 of 35 weekly points, earned 24 activity points

30 Day Shred is such a good workout! I want to strangle Jillian every moment, but it sure works!!

30 day shred. I’ve heard about that a lot…maybe sometime I’ll try it.

I hope you post your goals, it would be great to see and follow and encourage you!

There are monthly goals posted with the tag monthly resolutions, I’m trying not to look to far ahead or I get discouraged, oh and under the goals tab at the top of the page.

Oh, yeah, and Anna and I would love to meet up with you guys for dinner some time! Yeah, she told me about it from your Facebook posts. So glad she shared it!
