The Weekly Round up 1/23-1/30

I got in 7 workouts this week, completed week four of couch to 5k (including running 10 minutes straight) and got in one strength training session.  I also got up and walked 5 minutes of every hour I was in front of the computer or watching TV, it really started to add up to some serious time , I’ll definitely be doing that again this week.

Summary I used 19.5/35 Weekly Points and I earned 35 Activity Points.

I lost 1.6 which given the time of the month is awesome!

I run my first 5k tomorrow and I feel ready!

Saturday 44.5 of 25 Had Mexican for dinner. Earned 3 activity points

Sunday 23.5 of 25 points. made ham and cheese panninis for lunch and chicken enchiladas (heavy on the veggies and beans) for dinner.  Earned 6 activity points.

Monday 23.5 of 25 points. Earned 6 activity points, Meatless Monday had Amaranth, Quinoa and Corn Chowder for lunch and Baked Winter Squash, Pinenut and Raisin Lasagna for dinner

Tuesday 22 of 25 points. Earned 6 activity points. Made light Indian for dinner including Shrimp and Squash Vindaloo and Aloo Gobi

Wednesday 24 of 25 points. Earned 5 activity points.  leftovers

Thursday 24 of 25 points. Earned 6 activity points, leftovers

Friday 21.5 of 25 points leftovers. 3 activity points, leftovers

I plan to workout every day this week (with 2 lower intensity days) and to try to walk 10  minutes of every two hour I’m not active, I plan to get a vegetarian day in again this week, I also would like 2-3 strength training days, hopefully my cold is now behind me so I can do the strength training, I just wasn’t up to it on Tuesday this weekI have my first of three 5k events tomorrow and look forward to seeing how I do.
