January 25th Food and Exercise Journal

Breakfast(5.5) –Scrambled Eggs, Whole wheat toast, pear

Lunch (7)–Amaranth, Quinoa and Corn Chowder(4), mandarin oranges (1), yogurt (2)

Dinner (7)–Baked Winter Squash with Raisins and Pinenuts(6), green beans with butter (1)

Snack(4)–Firecracker(4)

Feeling a bit better today, still stuffed up but managed to workout again today and get a decent calorie burn as well.  Today was another meatless Monday.  I made Amaranth, Quinoa and Corn Chowder for lunch and Baked Winter Squash with Raisins and Pinenuts for dinner.  In continued with the walking 5 minutes out of every hour, its really racking up moderate exercise time and steps etc.  The chowder was excellent, savoury, creamy and filling.  The lasagna was also really yummy and pretty fast and easy. Hopefully I’ll feel better again tomorrow.

I’m headed to bed early again tonight, going to try to knock this thing out as quickly as possible!
